25 Years of Service to Indio
Gloria Hernandez has dedicated her career to the City of Indio — working from the inside to deliver results for families, neighborhoods, and the community she calls home.
A Life Rooted in Indio
Gloria Hernandez was born and raised in the Coachella Valley. She has spent her entire professional career serving the City of Indio, building deep knowledge of how local government works — and how to make it work better for residents.
Over 25 years, Gloria has worked across multiple city departments, developing expertise in public administration, community services, and neighborhood development. She understands the challenges Indio families face because she lives them too.
As a mother of four and grandmother of eight, Gloria's commitment to Indio is personal. She wants the city her grandchildren grow up in to be safe, thriving, and full of opportunity.
Why She's Running
Indio deserves a council member who knows the city from the inside out — someone who will fight for every family, not just a few.
Experience
25 years inside City Hall means Gloria knows exactly how decisions get made — and how to hold the city accountable to its residents.
Community First
Gloria has spent her career serving Indio's families. On the council, she will bring that same dedication to every vote and every decision.
Trusted Leadership
Endorsed by Councilmembers Glenn Miller and Ben Guitron, Gloria has earned the trust of Indio's established leadership and its everyday residents alike.
Family & Community
Gloria is a proud mother of four children and grandmother of eight grandchildren — all part of the Coachella Valley community. Her family ties run deep in Indio, and her motivation to serve comes from a genuine desire to leave the city better than she found it.
I've given 25 years to this city as an employee. Now I want to give back as an elected leader — someone who answers directly to the people of Indio.
